Fifteen members gathered for the meeting.
The meeting was opened at 10:00am by Vice-President Doris
Hutton.
The Treasurer's Report was given to all members. Motion was made and seconded that we accept
the report as written.
The Secretaries Report was given to all member. Motion was made and seconded that
we accept the report as written.

A motion was made to
accept this slate of officers for the next year. The motion was carried.
The Book Sale was successful with
a profit of $429.00. However this is somewhat smaller amount than last year.
A great thank-you was given to
Jack and Beulah Lowman for all their work. There were so many good workers this year and that made the work a lot easier.
Motion was made and carried to not change the Bylaws at this time.
An audit of the Treasurer's
Books will be completed by Jo Hodge and Doris Frye.
Annual dues are accepted at this time. A mention
was made about raising the Annual Dues to ten dollars. This item wqs tabled at this time.
Money that has
been paid for the 2007 Christmas Dinner ws discussed. It was decided at this time to put the checks and cash from this
item into the checking account. If anyone wantz their money back they can receive a check at the next meeting.
At the August meeting there will be a discussion about the author Jodi Picoult's books. There are several
books in the Library. Everyone should try to read some of her work and be ready to take part in the discussion.
Mr. Al Leslie from the Sheriff's Department and his dog, Drummer, gave a very interesting program about his drug sniffing
dog. He told about training Drummer and how she has helped the Sheriff's Department to apprehend drug smugglers
in our area. She is a short haired border collie from England.
